Adding the Jungle Book and Lion King characters to JC

It's already a cheesy attraction, why not liven it up, add some really fun animitronics for the kids, songs, singing, laughing, brief scene dialogues. Timon, Pumbaa, Baloo, Simba, Scar, Bagheera, and King Louie etc.

It could be a huge hit. And reintroduce a new generation to an older film (The Jungle Book 1967) heck even The Lion King is 18 years old.

Cheesy original attraction > Cheesy attraction with tacked on Disney characters

To wit: it's a small world.

Let's keep the Jungle Cruise as it is. Or demolish it and put in something better. That's always an option.

Just leave it. Characters aren't going to increase riders on this one. Now if we were to replace it with something new maybe....but it would have to be damn good to warrant destroying an original attraction.
In the quest for quality, I have no problem with the characters footing the bill.

I'm all for more movie attractions, especially classic movies, but they wouldn't blend right with the semi-realistic style of Jungle Cruise animals. Give them their own original attraction.

Jeez, what's with all these "Lets put so and so movie characters in ___________ (insert classic attraction)" threads?

No movie characters in the Jungle Cruise.

I agree... not all attractions have to be about the movies or shows.

No. Enough with the Toonification of Disneyland attractions.

I'm definitely down for it as long as it's not...

HI I'M A CHARACTER FROM THE JUNGLE BOOK. IGNORE THE PRETTY NATURE OF THE RIDE TO LOOK AT ME.

    Two minutes later.

    I'M STILL HERE.
