How about reviving a popular attraction that Disneyland never got to experience? Something like an updated version of ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter.
That was replaced at Disneyworld with Mission to Mars and still has quite the cult following from what I understand. They could easily update it and make it a little more futuristic and/or realistic.
Actually it was replaced with Stitch's Great Escape.

Alien Encounter replaced mission to mars. It was deemed too scary for children and was then replaced by Stitch's great escape which most deem to stupid for anyone.
My vote -
Let EO run a bit more ... till it's time to renovate all of Tomorrowland .. because, surely, it's coming.
And when it comes ... I would like to see the theater demolished! No more 3D films!!
AS IF 3D films are still unique to theme parks!
Just look around the local multiplex ... and the number of 3D films that come out all the time, now!
I'd rather Disneyland be a place to find adventures .. you can't find 'outside the berm'.
And 3D films are pretty common place.
They can doll it up .. with as much bubble machines .. air blasters .. this .. and that ... to make it "4D" .. "5D" .. whatever ..... But it still comes down to the film itself, to be a repeat experience. And at this point in time ... I would like to assume WDI have been paying enough attention to the outside world .. and notice the thousands of multiplex cinemas there are out there ... and realize .. It's time to let 3D Attractions bite the dust ... once and for all!

The theater still exists because it is a good spot for guests to cool off and relax for a bit. One of the main reasons I did Captain EO earlier this month was simply because it was 104 degrees outside and I was desperately looking for a cool spot to be for a bit. The waiting area is in the shade and the inside is air conditioned. They won't be getting rid of it completely.
Please - anything but more Honey I Shrunk My Attention Span. I can understand a return of Captain EO - MJ, singing, dancing, etc....but Honey? It has nothing to offer as a revival except a guarantee of enough space to cool off on a hot day.
Move on - it's over - nothing to see here...
