Per the Disney Auditions site, they are currently holding auditions for a full year contract, starting in January. Therefore, Aladdin is playing until 2014. While it will be nice to have a new show in Fantasyland, why have they not tried to change to a new show?

even tho this show is very old, it's very new each time since the jokes are always different and current.
Now, if we can just get a Seasonal show in there that would be great. Maybe Nitemare B4 Xmas for 4 months each year.

Well, we are getting a whole new stage show next summer at Disneyland, so I do not mind another year of Aladdin.
I'm sorry but I am not willing to just settle for them fixing the carpet. This show is really starting to get old. Yes there are a couple of new jokes every now and then, but that is not enough. This is just more b/s from Disney not wanting to budget in putting a new show in CA Adventure and hoping all the fans just sit there and take it. Please give us something new.

Again, we are getting a whole new show at Disneyland next summer. I am sure DCA will follow. But Aladdin is still filling up to capacity on summer/winter nights. It's a crowd pleaser, so if it ain't broken there is no need to fix it.Originally Posted by calsig31

Really, to me that does not seem like a good reason not to put a wounded animal out of its misery.

If you want a new show, then you have to convince all those fans who return time and again that they should not spend their time at this attraction. Obviously if people are willing to see it in its current state, then Disney doesn't have to do anything.
When did the show start running?
A rollercoaster and a stage show is hardly an apples to apples comparison. Comparing it to Captain Eo or Honey I Shrunk the Audience would be more accurate.

They've had over 10,000 shows now....yeahaahhhh time to get something new in there. Yes its a great show, but please something new!!!!
