I wonder if Disney will add a camera and photo shop to the attraction.
I don't know if they really need more onride photo options, but maybe it will help increase the PP+ CDs sold at DLR since it could be incentive for locals to use it.
They're adding a Nickelback soundtrack.

Haven't a lot of us said that we wished BTMRR would get some serious TLC? If they're closing it for 10 months, we might have received our wish there.
I am going to miss it in 2013, since it's one of my favorite rides in the park. And I'm going to try to get on it as many times as I can before January 7th. Hopefully this will be a good thing and the Railroad will emerge looking shiny, new and operational.
Wasn't one of the proposed changes to give riders individual lap bars? I know that right now one of the things with the ride that is bothersome is that since there's one lap bar for two riders, if there's a size difference/parent and child/etc., the smaller person gets tossed around a bit.
If they fix the doors and the moving rocks I will be eternally grateful.
And the larger gets the bar clamped down on their legs like a vice if the smaller person gets a hold of the bar first.

There are going to lots of fixes and restorations! While it is not longer than Space Mountain's refurb way back in 2003-2005.
Disney is probably going to replace the whole track, new rock work, new lightning, better modern safety regulations, earthquake effect will be fixed and restored. The trains will be replaced as well, all the audio animatronics will be face-lifted and the sound system will be replaced with a newer one. BTMRR will be more reliable and less downtime.
