Re: Al Report: Iron Man E-Ticket Thril Ride to Replace Innoventions

I agree about a Stark Expo. I would prefer that over an actual ride. If you have seen any of the recent Marvel movies you would know that Stark Industries is rather futuristic in terms of energy potentials, space, weapons, and technology. It could have been similar to Innoventions in the sense of the layout.

I'm curious to see what kind of attraction they will do. I am imagining something like Star Tours, tbh.
Please... put Guardians of the Galaxy in Tomorrowland.

What's funny is some of the complainers will be in line, just like the rest of us, if the ride comes.

Well.....I'd love to see some sort of Space Adventure.....something like and a few other people are captain of a ship, you discover planets, fight aliens and have a funny robot guide or AI......something different from the the normal one path ride..but something you and your friends get ten mins to go out in this Virtual space in a physical ship and get to press buttons, work together and have fun.

But of course Disney would never go for that..though if they had enough area the capacity for the ride would not be so bad since...each "space ship" would be like 20 feet, make 30 of these and the ride would be able to hold a good amount of people. But we all know Disney does not want to go the route of different, new and exciting anymore...its Rollercoasters and Bigger Dark rides

Yes. It speaks that it is a Disney property and clearly does not belong in DISNEYLAND.

People still can't come to terms with the integration of Pixar characters into Disneyland. They won't accept Marvel for a long time.

so downtown Disney is not on the DLR property?

and if I'm not mistaken the Lakers had their Parade there and so do the super bowl champs every year...That's not Disney related either. What about the GIGANTIC swimming pool they set up down main street for the Olympics that one year?

Eventhough its not ESPN it is sports-related. I guess we should stop those too since its not DISNEY related

Synergy is imperative in the future, Disney will see fit that's going to happen. Looks like the Land of Tomorrow has come true, everything is a tie-in.

I hope so! It seems like it would even out the backed up lines that are usually at SM.

Re: Al Report: Iron Man E-Ticket Thril Ride to Replace Innoventions

I'll see you all in line, because as usual any new thing at Disney has a hoard against it who I'd be willing to bet will be racing to be among the first to ride it.

I hope I'm wrong, because that makes my wait in line that much shorter.

I'll admit, I'd rather throw Marvel into DCA, but I do think that if they are going to go into an existing land in DL, Tomorrowland is the most appropriate. ESPECIALLY if it gets rid of Innoventions!

    I wouldn't mind a shorter line.

Indy and Star Tours aren't Disney. They are in DISNEYland. It's all a moot point.
