How about we do a switcharoo on this, and name the worst queues in Disneyland as well. Canoes is bad - it is always really hot in that part of the park, and it is totally uncovered, also the line is really really really really slow.

Worst queue in the park?
Three words: Goofy's Sky School.
Need I say more?
Never been to DCA - but i will take your word based on how adamant you sound about it.

BEST
DL = Indy. ( This was ahead of it's time and the standard I hold all other queues up to. ENTERTAIN ME while I'm standing on my feet for 90 minutes waiting, eh?! )
DCA = Muppet Show ( It's not a big line but it's interesting. The frosted glass doors, the sounds of things going on behind, the pre-show waiting area... I could stand there and look at that pre-show room for far longer than the waiting requires. )
WORST
DL = Peter Pan. ( I love the ride but of the 5 dark rides in/near the castle this is the one with consistently the longest <45 min avg> wait. There's really nothing to be done about that wait, but it's amplified when you're in a queue of switchbacks and chains that some kid is almost always swinging on while his parents don't care. )
DCA = Soarin'. ( The corrugated metal walls, the static pics,... <Yawn> It's like I'm in the lobby of a steakhouse or something. It's monotonous and boring and could use something interactive to remind me that I'm in a Disney park. Hard to believe this line was created AFTER the queue for Indiana Jones. )
Your first, your last, your only defense against the scum of the ethereal plane.
Storybookland is my least favorite: Very narrow switchbacks through metal railings and full of impatient little kids (not that I blame them).
Tower of Terror, Indy, HM, and Star Tours are my favorite, though maybe not always efficient. I don't really mind waiting in them.
BEST- DISNEYLAND- Pre-Fast Pass Indy. This perfectly sets up the attraction and gives you stuff to do during the attraction. Current day, that would have to be Star Tours. The queue is enormously entertaing. It sets up the story and theme, and personally I'd like to hang around a bit longer to see the full loops of the robots and shadows.
I don't count Haunted Mansion, since once you enter the house I consider that the attraction itself.
BEST- DCA- Muppetvision 3-D. I'll go down on record and say the pre-show is more entertaining than the actual attraction. I've actually gone through the line, watched the pre-show and left rather than seeing the film on more than one occasion. :P
WORST- DISNEYLAND- Peter Pan. Long waits and nothing to look at other than the Evil Queen snickering at you waiting in line from her place above the Snow White attraction.
WORST- DCA- Mickey's Fun Wheel. Long waits, and it's just a descent into a concrete pit.
"If we cut the budget are you going to be the one standing at the exit explaining to guests why the ride they just rode is a piece of crap?" - - John Lasseter
I'm just going to be redundant here.
Best: Star Tours
Indy
Roger Rabbit
Honorable Mention:
POTC
Winnie the Pooh (I find it very tranquil and pleasant to be in that environment on a sunny, clear day)
Jungle Cruise
Big Thunder
Not so good:
Dumbo
Casey Jr.
Subs
But honestly, they really aren't too terrible. They do lead to somewhere good.
THE BEST EVER IS..
casey jr
did I just post that.....
Indiana Jones
Rodger Rabbit
Star Tours
Splash Mountain
Tower of Terror
Luigi's Flying Tires
Radiator Springs Racers
Ariel's Undersea Adventure
ONE TWO THREE NOT ONLY YOU AND ME![]()
2 come to mind:
1. Tea Cups because of it's whirl action and the crowd lanes which surround the attraction adds to the swirl effects. Then add to it the occasional Monorail passing by, a parade marching by, the screams coming from the Matterhorn, and the gaping jaws of nearby Monstro. And one is just standing still in a simple queue with all this action going on even before one enters a cup.
2. Snow White, with it's interactive apple and the dungeon scene. Simple theming which has proven to be quite effective throughout the years.
I'll take a large Tea Cup with a side of Casey Jr. And when will all the construction finally end?
I always like the queue for GRR in DCA.
397 or 406 miles too far from DLR, depending on who you ask...
The best line ( i refuse to use queue in America :P) is easily Indy and Roger Rabbit.
