To replace the castle with something bigger and make it look good, you would have to change most of the park.

Id like to see it become as ornate as Paris castle but at a height taller than the original but smaller than Disneyworld. but keep the spirit of the original in the new design. I don't consider the castle to be untouchable status like many here. But I would only approve if the new one is an improvement.
In the quest for quality, I have no problem with the characters footing the bill.

I think our castle is the right size for our park.

i love our castle. i wouldn't mind seeing the color change back, but changing in size would be awkward and such a big refurbishment, it would really take away from the disneyland experience.

I'd be fine only with minor modifications. Like a slightly wider drawbridge and breeze way, or stretching out the top two towers a tad. Other than that, our castle it unique and has stood the test of time. There shouldn't be any drastic changes.

    I couldn't agree more.

Also, the building is getting pretty old by now. I think it's inevitable that at some point it'll need to come down and be totally replaced. The design and look of Sleeping Beauty's castle is, IMO, far superior to the Cinderella's digs in FL.

One thing I wish was present since the beginning is the name of the castle. Calling it Aurora's Castle instead of Sleeping Beauty's Castle sounds better to me. Her name isn't Sleeping Beauty, it's Aurora.

I love the castle....but would not mind them making it bigger (another ten to twenty feet at max)

I am all for a little bit of change! I just don't know what the best way to change it would be.

If you could keep the appearance of it but just make it larger and more substantial, it would be an improvement. It does not need to be scaled way up though by any means.

ORDDU: Some things in life should never change. Sleeping Beauty's Castle is one of them. My sisters and I also agree that the gold railing needs to go. It doesn't fit the castle and since there don't seem to be any shows taking place up there any longer there really isn't any need for them. That's one bad change they made to the castle that needs to be reversed.

ORWEN: If you messed around with the castle's height, it would mess up the skyline for the Matterhorn and everything else at Disneyland. Walt knew what he was doing. Leave my girlfriend's castle alone!!!

I was always jealous of the larger castles in other parks... until i finally saw them in person. I now feel ours is perfect.I found larger castles to be less intimate. less personable.
