October 18-20 And Halloween party!

Whew we drove 7hours from Sacramento and could hardly wait. We started our first day using our early entry!


We started off with the Matterhorn our first ride since it opened and I was disappointed at how slow it was. We got in the tomorrowland side because I always heard it was faster, but they only were letting people into the Fantasyland side of the ride. When I asked the Cast Member if there was a difference in speed she said not at all, but that the Fantasyland side was a longer ride. Maybe it was all in our heads, but it seemed way slower than the tomorrowland side. The cast member said that gravity is what determines how fast you go. From there we headed to star tours and to get a FP for space mountain. Now it was time to head to DCA. We were super excited since we havent been since it has been upgraded.



OMG we loved the new Buena Vista St!!! We saw all the characters in their outfits and even met a cool police man on duty he was so in character and funny!


We then headed to Monsters Inc and Roz hit on my husband and said cheese for the camera. I love that she interacts with the riders.




We then went to Paradise pier and met Donald. I love this outfit of his!!! He is my Hubby's favorite character. We also grabbed a FP for Cars and I read on here that the line was crazy, but that was nothing like we thought!!!



We saw Flik in Bugs Land but he was on his way out and when I asked a Cast Member when he would be back she said he hasnt been out for years :/ ummm so I dont know. Took a pose with Francis. It was time for Soarin Over Cali and I was sad to see that there was a huge like black spot on the film or the screen I couldnt tell. I would think Disney would have fixed it because it really ruined the effect of the ride. I love that ride, but I think it is now time for an update. I would love flying over the world or even getting a different ride sequence each time you ride!


We caught the Pixar parade and thought it was cute.

Now it was time for our reservations at CC for the WOC dining package. Let me just say I read all your guys reviews on the food and they were understated!!! The service, atmosphere, and especially the food was excellent. I felt like a star. My mom had the thai pumpkin soup, the jerked oso, and the seasonal pie. I had the short rib raviolo and the apple cheesecake. While my hubby had the biscuits and trout. We all loved our meal. I was sad because I had my dessert picked out the monte cristo banana split and the bacon rapped shrimp, but they changed the menu. I also had the rose essence soda with an edible rose petal. OMG lemme say we will be going back each time. The price came to 140 tho.

Day 1 Continued...

We ended our night watching WOC. I must say for the price of CC the viewing spot was awful IMO. I will just grab a FP next time.












We saw a DJ car in Carsland it was pretty awesome

Day 2 We started out at DL and met Pinnochio, Alice, Mad Hatter, and the Queen of Hearts.









We caught Soundsational and it was good!





After the parade it was off to DTD







We went back to the hotel to rest before the Halloween party. I didnt have high expectations after all the reviews I read and this was my first Halloween party. It was amazing!!! We loved the fireworks and met so many villains and Jack Sparrow! All the rides were walk on with the exception of HMH and SM. We didnt spend too much time with candy. We saw Jack Sparrow, Malificent, Evil Queen, Jafar, Frollo, Dr. Faciilier, Cruella, Drizella, Anastasia, Lady Tremaine, Jack and Sally.











We decided to go back again next year and also upgraded our tickets to APs!!! We are so excited.

Coming up day 3

Day 3 was by far the most interesting and most busy. We headed to DCA to grab a FP for cars and were asked by a CM if we would like to be the first people to ride ToT. We said yes!! We rode the Trolly to ToT by ourselves and were met by Chip and Dale. We were then escorted to the front of the line and got to sign a book that will be placed in the library. We then got to ride the ride by ourselves and they gave us a complimentary picture to keep! That was so magical.






We went to see Aladdin and saw that the carpet is still missing and was rather awkward without it. They should bring it back definitely. We saw Mr and Mrs Incredible and Frozone. I tried to upload my pic with him, but it wouldnt let me.



We went to Cars to use our FP and it broke down we decided to leave and come back later. DO you guys know if the right lane always wins the race?



We went to DL to watch fantasmic and saw Murphy out! My hubby has never seen it and was so in love with it! Overall we had a great trip and made many memories. I love that disney made it magical for us, but I also feel that some parts of the park are neglected. I saw that the Crocs eye in Fantasmic looked dingy and other minor things that I feel disney should fix. But it was great and I hope you guys enjoyed my TR.







Forgot to mention while we there Saturday near PoC there was an unattended package that had security worried and made crowds really bad. Saturday was way more busy than I thought and pondered if there was an event I didnt know about. EVCs and Strollers were also way more polite than usual. I didnt get run over not once!

THat is so awesome that they do this!!! This is the first time I heard that they did this. I never knew that!!! Excellent report!

It's always random!! I won several times when my car was in the left lane, too!
