There is no right or wrong in this debate. It is simply a matter of perspective.

These are the franchises you are looking for. Don't move along. There is going to be lots to see here.

Does this mean George will get a statue at the new (what we all expect in 10 years or so) Star Wars park? After all, he had a big role in rides at the park, helped found Pixar and now is going to account for a large portion of revenue in perpetuity.

You would think that while making $4 BILLION by signing his name that George would look at least a little happy? Maybe smile at least?

Don't be confused. The majority of Disney fans like Pixar and like Star Wars. The majority of Disney fans are lukewarm on Marvel. Only the Marvel fans are really, really excited about Marvel. The rest of us are alright with Marvel, but question putting any of it in Disneyland. It's that simple.

In my case, I think there are too many Pixar attractions and inappropriately placed in Disneyland. Lucasfilms has Star Tours and Indy... one attraction each - I can live with that. That Jedi Academy thing out on Tomorrowland Terrace...I don't like it and avoid it but it is at limited times and not a continuous running thing - so meh. Now Marvel - I read or have read the comics, seen most of the movies, but do not think it is appropriate in DISNEYLAND. Even a Stark Expo, although that is likely the least obnoxious affront to Disneyland.

Do not want another Star Wars attraction.

My opinions, your opinions may vary.

First Marvel now LucasFilm? Geez, Disney must have REALLY wanted that teen boy demographic...

With Star Tours and Indy already in the parks, makes you wonder if THEY PLANNED THIS SINCE THE 80s.

Today, I feel like driving through a cursed temple, taking a tour of a haunted antebellum mansion, plunging down a waterfall in a hollowed-out log, bobsledding down a famous swiss mountain, traveling through the darkest recesses of space, and watching fireworks explode over a fantastical castle.

    Yeah, that sounds fun.

He never looks happy! The neck beard does not allow him to smile.

wheres a darth vader no when you need it?

Episode 7 is just going to ruin a huge 30 year old Ending to the series..what can they continue with?

good news is at least Indy and tours stays for a long time I guess...will this mean Leia might be a character soon or is it only going to be just vader and stormtroopers?

Out of curiosity are you aware of the expanded universe that takes place in comics and books that deals with events immediately after and 40+ years later with the original characters? There is plenty of material.
