Who should play Walt Disney?

In the spirit of Saving Mr. Banks recently filming at Disneyland........what other actors (besides Tom Hanks) do you think would do Walt Disney justice (looks and acting wise) if a film based on his life were ever made?

What about his wife, Lillian......or his brother, Roy?

I'm completely with Lord Vader.

I could care a little about. My main concern for films that include WD is who writes, directs and produces it. I want quality to be used when portraying a national hero.

I'd like to see Kate Upton play Lillian Disney. I'd be at Disneyland all day watching her film.

For a young Walt, I think Ryan Gosling would be good.

Nobody. The Walt Bio-pic should be a full length animation using the best of modern technology. Animation, as it is today, has been built on the shoulders of Walt Disney Studios. So many of the ground breaking innovations were done by him, sound, color, multiplane camera, etc. It would only be fitting and a great tribute to use the medium that he reinvented.
As for his voice, I think Jeff Bridges has the right timbre for the role. Shia can do the vocal work for Lady", Walt's poodle.

Looking at the above stills - I think that Joseph Gordon-Levitt looks a lot like Walt when he was in his 20s and 30s - minus the mustache. James Franco has very similar eyes to Walt in his later years - Happy smiling eyes. Looking in them there was always something magic going on inside --- :)

All these guys would be candidates to play Walt from the late 1910's to the 1930's. In the terms of Saving Mr. Banks I think Tom Hanks is best to play the Walt of the 1960's.
