It does look like a good value. It looks like less of the protiens and more of the greasy coated breads. Still at $6.25 it looks like half a sandwhich for well under half the Blue Bayou or Cafe Orleans pricing.

Ha ha - I didn't see the possibility of a negative title. Good catch on that.

I believe there is only the one version with ham. But this was the first day so who knows. If enough people ask for the cheese only version, they might come up with that also.

I'm so glad everyone is so responsive to this. I was pretty sure they would be and that's what I told the chefs.

What a brilliant idea. I hope they're good and that they can become a permanent item.

In looking at my photo a little closer I believe there is ham and turkey. The turkey is kind of hard to see. I just know it tasted exactly like the sandwich.

Yum, where in the park is the Jingle Jangle Jamboree? I see it's Xmas themed, but don't recognize it.
    Thanks,

Re: Monte Cristo Bites at Jingle Jangle Jamboree

Had them today. They are turkey and ham. Mostly ham. Got 11 pieces plus the jam and sugar. Great value. I would get them earlier in the day. I had mine during the last (5:00) show of Billy Hill and the Hill Billies and there were a little cold and the cheese wasn't that melty. Also walk right into Jingle Jangle Jamboree don't ask about food. Asked a Frontierland CM and they had no idea about food being served back there.

Re: Monte Cristo Bites at Jingle Jangle Jamboree

Wow - that's really interesting that they wouldn't know about the food. Usually the CM's back there seem to know what is going on. And 11???!!! That's even better. Or maybe you had more because it was the end of the day and they were trying to get rid of them. I did have mine in the morning and they had just brought them out. They can only keep them warm under a heat lamp, so yes earlier is probably better than later. I'm out of town this week and only occasionally checking on this thread as my connection is poor.

How do they compare to the regular Monte Cristo? I've always wanted to try but I could never justify dropping $20+ for three tiny sandwiches. I'm wondering if this is a decent alternative, and then maybe decide to try the real Monte Cristo?

Tiny?? Good lord, I thought it was massive and could only eat half of it (and then felt stuffed for most of the afternoon!)
