Monte Cristo Bites at Jingle Jangle Jamboree

Was at the opening of Jingle Jangle Jamboree yesterday and they are offering a new item there - Monte Cristo Bites! Yes - just like the sandwich only in the form of a donut hole. While I was there the head chef of the Disneyland Resort who came up with this and the Chef from Plaza Inn on Main Street who is implementing them were there. And a bunch of other chefs too. I was their first customer - and let me tell you, these bites are GOOD. You get seven (or maybe it was 8) bites which was just the right amount. They are $6.25. I was full by the seventh one as they are rich, just like the sandwich. You also get a container of jelly and a container of powdered sugar. I know many people who love the Monte Cristo Sandwich and this is a nice alternative to it. Below is a photo of their menu board and a couple of photos of the bites. As a side, this whole area has been nicely themed to Christmas and the Billy Hill Holiday Show is wonderful - with a few surprises thrown in

I'm glad the serving size is small- those look dangerously delicious.

I am resisting the urge to get in the car and drive down immediately .....
