Re: Are fastpass return times being enforced?

It's all speculation still at this point... it will just happen when they feel like trying to do it. In WdW there were signs out in the break rooms for the employees to start warning guests that had a date attached to it. Since nothing like that has shown up on here we can pretty much assume it isn't happening yet anytime soon. The CMs will need plenty of time to gear up for the logistics. They can't just turn this on and hope for the best. And be sure when there is any real facts about it coming you will see 10 threads on it here

Re: Are fastpass return times being enforced?

I see the signs are up now on all of the FastPass Stations.
Why did DLR decide that FastPass return times will be enforced?
Are FastPass lines now longer waits later on in the day?
Will this new policy make them shorter?

How is the enforcement going to improve all guests experience?

I don't mean to be confrontational, I just don't know how this improves things.
    Perhaps someone can explain it.

Why did you pick such an old thread? There is a newer one about this happening today.

    1. It is probably because of MyMagic+, they did the same thing in WDW a year ago.

    2. Today is a very busy day and it's hard to makea judgment of a single day's experience. Previously Space Mountain is the only attractions where I've regularily noticed a compounding line dues to late returns.

    3. Make what shorter? FP return, as noted above it may only effect Space. The Stand By waits may stay about the same on FP attractions but will possibly grow as people are less reliant on FPs. There may be a shift away from FP attractions raising slower attraction waits. It may be a very minor shift because the small educated on FP use group is the one being effected, not the average guest.

    4. It's park of MyMagic+ which will enhance the visits of many guests, mainly making it more leisurely.

Sorry, I searched for the subject, but didn't see the newer one.
    Thanks for your detailed answer.

Yes, the only thing that I saw clearly see is that by allowing late returners, the FastPass return lines may be longer.
The standby lines would be shorter however, during the window where the FP wasn't used.
I will have to read up on MyMagic+

Just curious, but did you ask the person that started the newer thread why they started a new one when there was already an active one?

It just seems like it would be logical if doing a search for a thread topic to go with the earliest active thread. I may be mistaken, but usually parallel threads get merged into the oldest active thread.
