I didn't vote because I liked both rides for different reasons.
I would love to see the Peoplemover back - and I enjoyed it very much when we went to WDW.
Hidden Mickey - Historical fiction about Walt that mixes action and mystery with time travel and fantasy! Tweens to adults will enjoy these novels. And now, three gamebooks to play in Disneyland, DCA and WDW Magic Kingdom!

Well, reckon my heart's in Texas but right now I live down N'Olins way...
Re: Do you prefer the Monorail or PeopleMover?
Well, I've always been rather fond of both of 'em really.
Whenever I visit Walt Disney World...I take a ride on the People Mover. It's a long, relaxing, tour or "ride" if you prefer. And, it does, indeed showcase a transportation system that should be considered for cities of the future.
Now, having said that, I love the monorail. I know the one at Disneyland is so small compared to the ones at Walt Disney World...but, still, it's an adventure out of the ordinary.
Taint no monorail 'round these parts...although I think there should be. The future ain't never gonna get here until folks start thinkin' out of the box like Walt Disney used to do.
So...yep...I think the people mover system needs to be brought back to Disneyland...maybe connecting those parking garages and things. And, I think the monorail system needs to be expanded at Walt Disney World. Both those things are long, long overdue.
Apples and Oranges I reckon. I like 'em both.
Adios for now. Talk to ya on down the trail.

"I can see the cattle grazin' o'er the hills at early morn… I can see the campfires smokin’ at the breaking of the dawn, I can hear the bronco's neighin', I can hear the cowboys sing, I'd like to be in Texas for the Round-up in the Spring."
