i was taking close-ups of the buildings today and a cast member ask what im doing. i told him and he said it will be rebuilt as the exact same town.....

It was my understanding of the rumor that it is to be completely rebuilt due to termite damage and/or dry rot in the wooden structures. I didn't think that thematically they were thinking of permanently removing it? I guess we will have to wait and see.

If it's of any comfort, Disney and More had a blog from last month indicating they would be rebuilt as is. Of course, unless Disney confirms it this is just a rumor. But it would seem to hold at least some weight.
