Space Mountain is one that I avoid period. And it bugs me because when I was younger, I avoided it like the plague, but then went on it as an adult and loved it. Now, I just can't stand the headache afterwards. I can still do Indy, Big Thunder, and the Matterhorn but in Indy I start to get headaches. I will do Star Tours, but really shouldn't, but the update is just so cool and I always hope for Vader and the Wookie planet! *lol*
Peter Pan
TSMM
Luigi's Flying Tires (lol just kidding I never enjoyed this one)
Subs
The subs used to be one of my favorite rides.
"You can cut me off from the civilized world. You can incarcerate me with two moronic cellmates. You can torture me with your thrice daily swill, but you cannot break the spirit of a Winchester. My voice shall be heard from this wilderness and I shall be delivered from this fetid and festering sewer."
I used to love the People Mover, but I havn't been on it in a while. Did they move the entrance? I keep looking every time I go, but can't seem to find it. I'll keep looking though and pass the word along if I find it...![]()
Peter pan...
For the love of Disney....
I tend to avoid Fantasyland in general. I did it both trips this year because I went with people who wanted to spend the time in the land, but I usually skip it. Too many strollers and kids that run into you. The only thing I never skip in Fantasyland is Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.
I also avoid ToonTown almost every trip. I like Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin a lot but I learned the secret to only go on it at night after the parade and/or fireworks are over. ToonTown is a ghost town after then. I walked right on Roger Rabbit and the Gadget Coaster last month at about 8:30pm.
Not sure. I'm still getting on lots of rides, and still avoiding ones I know I'll be getting sick (Star Tours, ToT, California Screamin', Silly Symphony Swings). My daughter keeps me busy getting on as many rides as possible during our visits.
I'll take a large Tea Cup with a side of Casey Jr. And when will all the construction finally end?
There are several rides I don't go on, but none of them fall into the category of "used to like" except Matterhorn.
I pledge allegiance to the Earth, one planet, many gods, and to the universe in which she spins.
I also adore Peter Pan's Flight, but rarely ride it due to the long line. Same goes for Alice.
"Every atom is a world, an infinity unfurled.
A world of inner space without an end!
A world of mystery, of endless energy,
with treasures more than man can ever spend!"
That's because it is now the Rocket Rods. But the line is like 3 hours long all the time because it is always breaking down. I hope they can figure out the issues and fix them, because I would hate to see the People Mover tracks not being used. Of course, a ride on those tracks is vital to the kinetic energy of Tomorrowland, so if they decide to scrap Rocket Rods, I'm sure they'll have a replacement lined up right away.
Tea Cups, but I never liked them..
Peter Pan is one, mostly because the wait time with very little enjoyment involved. I can go stand in line for 45 minutes and zoom around space!
There's a few that I tend to shy away from, but it's not so much "avoid" for any particular reason..
Winnie The Pooh comes to mind. Doesn't interest me. And apparently no one else on the planet.
Storybook Land, I usually have a hard time getting people to ride it with me.. and I don't want to be that "one guy" who ends up on the boat by himself.
Dumbo, seriously.. I haven't been on that thing since I was at least 9 or something. Only did Astro Orbitor once just to say I did it.
