I see where you're coming from but I've seen too much construction projects over the last few years to ignore that delays and cost overruns are just mandatory. Back in 1955 Walt may have rushed the whole park in a year but in today's day and age it takes 3 years ( 2009-2012 ) to get Radiator Springs built. It's a very comparable project.

I choose to close the land for three years.

Of course I'm only hoping that SM would get some additions as well

I think if they wanted too they could easily keep Star Tours open though as it's in the front of the land. But if it had to close with the rest of the land, still worth it but hard =/

Yeah, look at the Fantasyland overhaul of 1983. Or even, perish the thought, the first Tomorrowland overhaul of 1967!

Anyway, I'm not sure how I'd feel about having Tomorrowland be closed for a whopping three years. It seems a tad long. Real-life complete overhauls wouldn't take nearly as long, I don't think.
    My top favorite Disneyland attractions:

    1. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
    2. Pirates of the Caribbean
    3. Splash Mountain
    4. Mad Tea Party
    5. Peter Pan's Flight
    6. Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin
