Several times and I never felt like I had to yell to be heard.

I actually agree with you Cal. In fact, I was just at the watching the Five& Dime perform this past friday night..wasn't loud at all. It is a performance. I recorded it because one of the lovely men started singing to me but I'm dumb...had my stupid ear buds plugged into the cell phone so it recorded no sound

I can't stand Chuck E Cheese because of the noise factor...

    But back to topic!

RSR is pretty loud when you pass the waterfall but I think they scaled it down as it didn't burst my eardrums the last time I went

Besides, I LOVE Disneyland music!
I don't remember ever noticing that the Disneyland music is too loud except in Captain EO.

I just asked my daughter and she too doesn't think Disneyland is too loud.

I'll report back if I change my mind during our visit tomorrow.

I agree, it HAS gotten far too loud in the Park. People should have conversations in hushed tones. Those who ride the fast-paced rides should scream a bit more quietly. Children should cry at a lower volume. And music should be played at a reasonable volume (like "2").

    Very well said. Agree completely.

I always plug my ears when canon 1 and 2 fire on the Columbia in Fantasmic. Like clockwork.

Now with the glow ears holy hell. Fantasmic! is non-stop chatter, they need to turn that volume and bass up.
Interesting that you should mention Fantasmic because that is what came to my mind as something in the park that is much too loud. Different people have different perspectives I guess.

    nope not at all.

if anything in the entrance areas BVS and Main Street... the background music setting the atmosphere is not loud enough and is waaaay overpowered by the sounds of the crowds.

In the esplanade as well. The sound chases you out of the place at the end of your visit.
