Change Tomorrowland to "Star Wars Land"?

Not sure if this was brought up before, I didn't see anything in search.

With the purchase of Lucas, why not? Leave Star Tours (obviously) and Space Mtn or perhaps re-theme the load area, Autopia would become "floating" landspeeders and racers, the Terrace stage becomes a cantina...heck, put a dome over the whole land where projections could be shown (2 moons, change day to night, etc)...the Carousel of Progress building could become a flying car ride with "Peter Pan" ride type tracks all "at night", neon, other riders zooming past, up/down...and Nemo???...well, I dunno....and some way work in the Millennium Falcon.

They made an entire ~$1BIL land at DCA because of 1 good (and 1 so-so) Cars movies...Star Wars has that beat by least 3!...with 3 more to come.

How could they not?...all the money invested in Lucas and a land that needs some serious work. I would bet it was all part of a long term plan. Ignore Tormorrowland, buy Lucas, retrofit it to Star Wars Land. I know Lucas is more than SW but all that investment just to make 3 more movies...nah, they'll milk it for everything they can. Just look at POTC, and the rumored Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion movies and BTMR TV show.

Oh no, PLEASE no. It's one thing to take out certain classic attractions but to take out, or in this case, completely change and rename an entire land that's been there since day one is something totally different. No, no, no.

I'd be ok with it, but I wouldn't want them to go half way. For that reason, I'd probably rather they didn't, because it would take forever. But I'm slowly starting to feel the chord getting cut on things like Nemo and Autopia.

As much as I love what they mean to the park, and how they make me feel when I visit, there appears to be too much momentum for them heading to yesterland.

no, no, noooo. this isn't coming from my bias of not liking star wars, this is coming from my love of classic disneyland and holding on to the little bits that walt himself imagined.

Devote a portion of the third gate to SW by all means. Maybe even add a new land (I'm not sure where you would put it) like they did with NOS and Carsland. But do not under any circumstances change the theme of the lands at Disneyland.

mmmmmmaybe as a sub-division. But you can't have Star Wars Land. Maybe Mos Eisley, a space port for Star Tours and other SW related rides and attractions.
Much like NO[] is a subdivision of Adventure Land.

I like the idea of turning Autopia into a highspeed speederbike track like in Return of the Jedi. I could see the bikes attached to a post that stuck down into a slot, and that would bank, raise & lower around obstacles, accelerate, etc. through the same layout, but only dressed up into a more forested look.

I'll say the same thing I said in the thread we had like 2 weeks ago on this subject: If they want to find room to add a new land based on this, I'm all for it. However I think it would be blasphemy to replace an existing land with it.

This is like suggesting to replace Adventureland with Indiana Jones Land or Frontierland with Lone Ranger Land.
