New Fantasy Faire Show

Hi guys ---

Disney has a casting notice out for the following for a new "Fantasy Faire show":

Disney Parks Talent Casting is seeking comedic male actors (age 20's-30's) with strong singing skills for a Storytelling experience in the new Fantasy Faire at Disneyland® Park.

These performers will play multiple roles as they present classic Disney tales in a fast-paced and fun-filled show! Crisp comedic timing is a must. Actors need to move well and be able to perform in a vaudeville style.

What do you guys think about this? Animazement 2.0?

Its not for any big stage show. I would have thought it would be for something along the lines of the performer in this Disney Princess Storytelling - Cinderella - YouTube

Animazment 2.0 would more likely got to the new Fantasyland Theater. Does anyone have a relative time for construction completion on the theater, I'm curious to see what kind of new show they will have.

I believe an article said there'd be a new show by the summer of 2013?

Given that this is for Fantasy Faire (new location being built off the hub), not the Fantasyland Theater, I'm going to say this will be held on the dance floor area several times throughout the day and by the sound of it and the setting they are building will be a comedic "minstrel" sort of thing.

Sounds like fun - I imagine it will center around the princesses, so mostly they need to cast the various princes. Not sure how funny a prince is supposed to be though - so perhaps they plan to throw in a few villains, like Gaston for example. His hammy-ness definitely needs someone who can handle comedy.

This sounds like it's going in the "Fantasy Faire" which is what is being constructed to the left of the castle. Not a stage show. Like Mycroft said, it's likely going in the tent.

Rather than a prince, I imagine it's more for a narrator-type role. it will be interesting to see. I'm glad they're focusing on more live entertainment.

I'd guess too that it will be in the dance pavillion(Carnation Gardens Stage). Of course there could be someone used to lead a game in the plaza area, like the Mad Hatter does for the musical chairs.
