We got in! I used only my own pass and entered for everything but weekday 5:30 performances (which admittedly that was many) for the 3 in our family. We got 7:30 on Wednesday the 5th which is Kurt Russell. This will be our first time seeing it.

First time I have been selected for anything like this! I get to go on the 17th! I've done candlelight in Florida and saw it once here....but I had a concussion so I don't remember it at all! Really happy to go and see Molly!
Little and broken, but still good.

Here's a question. In the official rules, Item #4 states:

    4. PRIZES: Maximum of Thirty-Nine Thousand Sixty-Five (39,065) and a Minimum of Nine Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty-Six (9,766) GRAND PRIZES (depending on each winner's Party Size [1 to 4 Members]).

If this is the case and there are 30 shows to fill (15 days and 2 shows a day), that works out to 1,302 seats per show. I dont rememnber the seating area seeming THAT big!! Maybe a few hundred as I recall.

    Any thoughts...

Thoughts are this has been a horrific, rushed, unplanned, mess from the start. It's going to be a nightmare.

Re: Anyone heard if they were selected for the reserved Candlelight seating?

    I've never been before, but looks like I got December 19, 2012 7:30 p.m.
I love Molly Ringwald. I was really hoping for Dick Van Dyke, but I'll live Plus I think the weekday crowd will be better for me.

I'm curious who got the special invites for the shows on the 1st & 2nd. Guess I'll have to watch my bloggers on Twitter for that.

I signed up for 4, but it looks like I might be flying solo. IF I am going alone, I'll post so if someone wants to sit with me, I'd be happy to share my 3 extra spaces.
The rest of my troop is going up this Sat (1st) & I'm sure will be part of the SRO. I don't think they'll be able to join me on the 19th. So if not, who wants to be my adopt-a-family LOL

For those who need that 1 more seat, I would think that they have no shows & if you were trying to squeak 1 more person in, I'm sure a pretty please & asking a CM would get them in.
Considering you have to check in before the event according to the email, they will know how many "extra" seats they have available right before show time:
    • Check-in begins at 12:00 p.m. on the day of your event.
    • Guests must be checked in no later than 30 minutes prior to the start of the show and seated no later than 10 minutes before assigned show time.
    • All members of your party must be present at the Main Entrance Ticket Booth for check-in.

I doubt a CM will be able to help, but this is will likely work:
Hang around the checkin ticket booth (number 4) with a finger in the air chanting "I need a miracle"

You calculations are slightly off. There are 36 performances (18 nights x 2 performances/night).
There will be about 1085 AP seats for each performance. There are Club 33 dinner packages on some nights, which might add a hundred more seats. 1200 seats is less than the number for prior years. I did not count the seats, but attended the D23 candlelight event in 2009. The 400 D23 guests seemed to fill only a small part of the available seating.

The chairs will fill the Town Square and the street.

It will be interesting to see how the AP seating process works.

First come, first served. I see hundreds of AP's camping out for days so they can sit in the front row ; )

Our family did for the 7:30 show on the 1st. We're also invited to a pre-show reception with George Kalogridis over at Stage 17 earlier in the evening with an escort to reserved seating at 6:45. Our family has an 'in'.
I just saw that there's a possibility of rain on Saturday, so I'm hoping for the best.

I am jealous for those that got selected to attend Dec 12 and 13 for Dick Van Dyke, but I am still happy for being selected to attend at all! I just missed it by ONE DAY!!

What I would love to see is the CMs walking in the line and filling in the seats by rows. It would be more organized that way. The only concern with that is not enough seats and families would be split up.
