I am no photographer, and while I took more photos, I chose not to use a flash at a private affair and therefore most didn't turn out well.
Main Street was decked out in its holiday finest.
The various planters were gorgeous as always.
Big Thunder Ranch always features beautiful work no matter what the season, and as a guitar player i fell in love with all the guitar themed ornaments. Same with the Jamboree at the arena.
Later in the afternoon we headed over to stage 17 for the actual hosted reception. There were several food, drink and snack tables set up and the place packed out fairly quickly. Food included various Christmas tamales, Kobe beef sliders, yummy hot corn chowder, various cheeses and crackers, cookies, teas, coffees, spiced cider as well as hosted bars serving beer and wine. There was also a photo op with Mickey and Minnie available. I spotted lots of Disney corporation luminaries and chatted with the always genial Tony Baxter, my very favorite CM, historian and Disney artist Stacia Martin who is always a joy to spend time with and I even finally got the chance to meet a very pleasant George Kalogridis who announced that there are now over 25,000 CMs working at the Disney Parks in Anaheim.
Sadly the event at Town Square itself was halted a little more than half way through, but we still had a great time.
