I would post the pic I have but the mice chat AP wont let me... Anyways.. I was told by a lady that was watching the tree that it fell just as the mark Twain was coming by the canoe dock, and it had to go in reverse to let people off.
we saw cms and divers cutting away the tree and using the tom Sawyer rafts to get them out of the river... We checked later at night it was gone and river was open
Oh dear. I'm dying to see a picture. Is Fantasmic! dark yet? Well, if it's not yet it will be tonight.
Scary ... this really should call to question the strength of the trees, and how many more years they can stay still they all start to fall into the river.

Welp. Looks like the great tree revolt of Disneyland has started. All the vintage and original trees have had enough and will now topple over one by one.
But in all seriousness, which one will fall over next? That big one next to Coke Corner worries me a bit, since it could either fall close to or on top of the Coke Corner or Jolly Holiday if it cracks in the right spot or the wind blows it in the right direction.
Uh oh, not good at all. Some of those trees are old. Might be time for replacing.

I'm really concerned for the ones on Main Street. They've been there since opening day and have grown REALLY big when compared to their younger selves of the 50's. If one of them goes down onto the street, into a building, or worse, the high possibility of falling onto a guess, there's going to be massive discussions and all that. Possibly some new regulations or things like that.
Trees fall time to time , probley the rain soften the soil and washed a little away and that is all it takes. The rest of the trees are fine , replacing them is not relative in my opinion , if a tree falls it falls you can't live life in fear we risk our lives on the freeway everyday , I don't want to live in a safety bobble it takes away from the fun. These are my opinions
Im here for fun and info not be a bully! Carsland here I come
Bet it was eucalyptus. Those things have shallow roots.
No big deal, trees fall everyday. I wouldn't be too worried about lawyers. It's considered an act of God.
