Just had my own birthday yesterday, glad to have my birthday 'right next' to Walt's.
"Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain."
Happy Birthday to Walt. Thanks for creating this fun empire.
Happy Birthday Stormy!
Today is my birthday and I couldn't be happier to have been born on this day way back when.
thanks Walt for all you have done for us
Words can never describe how much we thank Uncle Walt and his collaborators, he gave the world so much we will probably never pay him back. The spirit of his courage, determination, and inventiveness and above all his optimism has had an effect on all of us. Walts life and success encourages me and so many others to reach for the sky and beyond, soon I'll be belting out "California Here I Come".
See ya walkin' right down the middle of o'l Main Street USA

Happy Birthday Walt! Thank you for the gift that is Disneyland, and all the memories made while there.
Glad I get to share my Birthday with Walt! I have loved all things Disney since I was a small child!
It was nice hearing Kurt Russell give Walt Birthday wishes last night.![]()
Howdy Pards,
You mean Walt Disney was a real person? Many folks around these days have trouble believing in Walt. How could one man do all that in just one lifetime? It would truly take someone mighty special to give the world so much happiness, wonder, and delight.
But, ya know...that idea of Walt and Roy buildin' a Disneyland up there in Heaven...well,
that's a mighty fine idea if you ask me. Happy Birthday Walt...and God Bless you for all you did to brighten up this ol' world of ours...
Adios for now. Talk to ya on down the trail.

"I can see the cattle grazin' o'er the hills at early morn…
I can see the campfires smokin’ at the breaking of the dawn,
I can hear the bronco's neighin', I can hear the cowboys sing,
I'd like to be in Texas for the Round-up in the Spring."
Happy belated Walt! Thank you for everything, I could never thank you enough for all the joy your movies, your park and your legacy have brought me in my life. <3

One thing to add to Wild Ol' Dan's post, was that he accomplished so much in a relatively short life, as well. Sadly due to his habit of smoking, Walt was only in his mid 60s when he passed. Imagine what he could have accomplished had he lived to his 80s or 90s, or more.
I suppose we were lucky to have him for the time that we did, though.
