Annual Passes at old rate..Anyone redeem them recently?

For those people who bought passes before the price hike and stored them away until their Expiration date which is coming up at the end of this month ...my question is recently has their been any issues with using them? I am going in the next few weeks to trade mine in for my pass and I am wondering if I will have anytrouble..Will they ask for the difference to current pricing?

Ours worked fine in August. I remember there being an expiration date of Dec 31, 2012 on the back. So I imagine as long as it is before the expiration date (if there was one?), it will work. There was no upgrade fee even though the price had increased; we received the pass on the card for the reduced rate. We were even renewed, despite it being a few days since our passes had expired and received a new renewal date (giving us a few extra days this year until the next renewal).

You will have aboslutely no problem as long as you activate it by the use by date.

However, if you wait until after that expiration date, you will have only a credit for the amount you paid, which can be applied toward the balance on a new pass, at the current rates.

So definitely mind the expiration date on this one.

I went today, and they were gonna take it with no qualms or questions, but not as a renewal for some reason. (My pass expires mid January.) The expiration date is Dec 31 on the card, but I was told I could bring it January 5th and it would be okay. So I will take it later and redeem it then.
