Cost of lockers? Also, weird Disneyland weather phenomenon?

Quite possibly going to join the hordes at Disneyland on 12/21 since it's my little sister's 7th...uh, actually 37th...birthday and why the heck not. Two questions:

1. Anyone know how much the large lockers rent for nowadays?

2. Does anyone else think the weather at Disneyland is always more extreme than the temperature suggests? F'rinstance, on a warm afternoon I think Disneyland seems 5-10 degrees hotter and way more stifling than it should, and on a chilly evening it feels 5-10 degrees colder than the actual temperature. Maybe it's just me.

Also I thought of a duplicitous theme park hack: If one didn't want to carry something around all day, like a coat for Disneyland's somehow-freezing-yet-actually-55-degrees nights, one could avoid paying for a locker by turning said coat in to the Lost & Found in the morning and then claiming it from Lost & Found in the evening.

I'm a pretty warm-blooded guy and am always less bundled-up than most others. But yes, at Disneyland, there seems to be a unique quality to the air when the mercury drops. I can't remember ever feeling as chilled as I have at Disneyland on a December or January night -- well, save for Texas at Christmas time.

As far as your second statement... YES!

I live in the Mojave desert and we have 120 degree Summers and right now it's 30 degrees. You'd think I'd be fine with it, but I always think that when we go to DLR it will be somewhat true to the weather forecast. I also find it is 10 degrees warmer or cooler. For instance, we were there on Tuesday... I was actually sweating a bit around noon to 2pm, then when the sun set I was pretty cold.

Most people don't realize how much walking there doing, it keeps your body warm, plus pavement is alway 10 degrees warmer in ths sun.

I thought of that lost & found scheme 20 years ago when I was 13 and had no pocket money but decided against it because I envisioned getting arrested for not wanting to carry my hoodie with me.

All the DL bodies of water make the place humid and the berm and high trees seem to block wind and keep the air stale. That is probably why it gets so hot but I can't think of what makes it so cold.

Thanks! I didn't know there were so many sizes, and I'm pleasantly surprised that prices haven't changed since the last time I used one a few years ago.

Don't they make you fill out some sort of form when dropping off and/or picking up items from Lost and Found? I don't remember...

Quite possible. My wife took college classes at a college next to Lake Erie and she said the lake created "lake effect snow" conditions which produced larger amounts of snow than areas inland from the lake. So, Disneyland produces "Disney effect weather".

Speaking from experience it takes forever to get something from the lost & found. And of course there's always the risk that your stuff might magically disappear from that backroom.
