I was in the parks today and in Carsland, there were a bunch of lights set up in front of the courthouse. I heard some rumors, like that it was for a private party, but I also heard that tomorrow a country singer is singing. The cast members said they didn't know who or what time it was at. Does anyone have info on this?

December 12, 2012: Brad Paisley parks in Cars Land: In a break from tradition, this years Christmas Day Parade TV special will feature a segment not taped in Disneyland or WDW's Magic Kingdom. A night segment from Cars Land will feature a concert by country music star Brad Paisley. The "surprise" concert will be taped in the middle of Cars Land this Thursday at 5PM, with Paisley and band performing for DCA visitors from atop vintage pickup trucks parked on Route 66. Expect the Cars Land marketing to be laid on thick for this year's TV special.

The weather today has been pretty rainy, hopefully it doesn't ruin the event.
Can't wait to see how hard WDW is trying to play off new fantasyland as their equivalent of cars land and an equally worthy park addition =D

Oops. Sorry bout that, I guess I read the quote from Dec 12 and thought that meant it filmed on the 12th totally missed the Thursday part.
Hopefully this is done and over soon, I'm heading down there in a bit and I'd like to grab a chili cone queso and ride RSR..
