Wanted to counter some of the normal holiday doom and gloom by pointing out, that despite the normal complaining about how awful Disneyland has become, it was second only to Times Square in New York for the number of Facebook Check-ins for 2012:

How could it not be. It gets many more millions of visitors than other places, and is somewhere people want to share to make thier friend jealous. Just look on MC for threads about how many visits people have made and see the bragging posts.

Everyone loves to claim they are at the game of a winning team, or in Fenway's case that they hate the Yankees.
I felt happy knowing a few of those check-ins were mine from August.
My guess is why Universal is so high is because of City Walk

I think that's mostly a phenomenon here, ironically enough. I sometimes wonder if "normal" people enjoy Disneyland more than its "fans".
Interesting that DL is number 2, while MK, which consistently gets more guests per year than DL does, isn't even on the list.
It's people who checked in via Facebook. Disneyland is more popular on Facebook than Disney World.
