What at Disneyland needs to be improved.

In my opinion, the Disneyland Resort is currently in great shape, :yea:
but that doesn't stop me from being whiny and obnoxious. :ap:

or start a more positive, "What is most wonderful about Disneyland?" poll.



BTW, there are few things I'm more content with than Disneyland in December 0f 2012,
but I started a (more necessary) thread like this in the WDW section, and thought I should appear to be fair.
And, aspects Disneyland's Tomorrowland would fit better at WDW and their overall standards.

Tomorrowland and Toontown..

In terms of lowering prices, just knocking back the food prices to a couple of years ago would work for me. Pass prices are high, but for what we get, I can't complain as much as I want to.

Tomorrowland and Tomorrowland plus Tomorrowland. Did I mention Tomorrowland?

-It has the weakest theming and aesthetics of any land in the 6 domestic parks IMO
-Very little there looks "tomorrow-ish"
-Empty PM track duh
-Very, very bad congestion
-I actually like EO

The park needs capacity, thats why skyway, peoplemover and carousel of progress/America simgs worked so well

Add Toy Story characters to Big Thunder Mountain.

Add a loop to Space Mountain.
Add The Lion King, The Jungle Book, and Tarzan characters to The Jungle Cruise.

Bring The Enchanted Tiki Room (Under New Management) back and out here to California!
Bring Stitch's Great Escape to Tomorrowland!
Put a Starbucks in every land.

Implement a NextGen-style system that requires every single Guest to plan out every second of their trip if they want to ride anything. No deviating from the schedule!
Add more interactive queues. The bigger and the noisier, the better!
Get rid of all park-specific merchandise in favor of the generic "Disney Parks" logos.
More paper cut-outs and cheap-looking merchandise in the window displays!
Put more Pixar in Tomorrowland!

I chose several improvements on your list. I like Astro Orbitor but it's location creates a horrible bottleneck and I agree it should be removed.

The reason I put price...

*I'd like a standard package deal for entrance for a family of 4. I feel family should be limited to mom, dad or grandparents and kids. No cousins, aunts & uncles, etc. But one of the tickets would be free in the package. If the kid is over 9 the ticket would still be free. Tickets for additional children over 2 would be 10% off. The package is only valid for families with kids 18 or under. ID would be required for all of the children. (Many states offer an ID for $15 or something. Looks like a driver's license).

*Another entrance pricing model I'd like to see implemented is a "punch card" with no expiration date. The 10 day parkhopper could be $500 and include 3 weekend days and 7 weekdays, even if they fall on a holiday.

The 5 day card could be $300 and include any number of weekends or holidays.

There would still be an annual pass. However, it would only be for California residents. It would include the same days as the lowest pass available.

I voted to get rid of Captain EO.

Oh and they should either get rid of Jack Sparrow in POTC or make all the pirates in there less obsessed with Jack.
