What are things you WDW has that you think that Disneyland needs?

Not to start an entirely cynical thread here, but I want to know what things you think WDW has that Disneyland "deserves" as well. With the opening of the new fantasyland in Florida as well as the rumored copy of Carsland in HWS it made me wonder what you all thought. Im not aiming to complain or anything, just want to hear you have to say.

    Cue the sarcastic posts!

More space and complete ownership of the area surrounding the parks

Doesn't Disney own most of the real estate around the parks but is waiting until the opportune time to act on it?

I think Toontown desperately needs Philharmagic, but only if they made it hand drawn animation, and I'd love to see the Country Bears return, although Pooh is a great fit for Critter Country. If I may borrow from another Disney park, I'd love for us to get Pocahontas Village in Frontierland, which is in Disneyland Paris. Along with that just about everything from WDW's Tomorrowland, minus Monster's Ink and I think we're in business

I'll agree with Philarmagic. That show always looked so cool to me and makes me wonder why DL doesn't have something in the same vein of it.

DL lacks good food in comparison to WDW. That is what always sticks out to me. As for both resorts, I'd say they both need better beds. I'd like the beds to be at least as good as Hyatt beds.

In terms of attractions and shows, I like the Lion King show at WDW. However, I wouldn't do an AK over at DL since the San Diego Zoo is close enough and far better. Other than the Lion King show, I guess test track would be pretty cool, but now with Carsland, we have something close. It's just not as fast.

What I would like both parks to have is an attraction on the same level as The Harry Potter's Forbidden Journey ride. Right now, I think that ride sets the bar for theme park attractions, and I don't think Disney has anything that comes close.

I was just watching a video of the Forbidden Journey's queue this morning, and I'd agree. All of the pictures moving, the different rooms, and sheer amount of detail shows they put a lot of resources into the ride as a whole and it paid off on a huge scale.

I don't want this thread to turn into a giant wish list of all the things Disneyland lacks and needs entirely, but man they'd blow the competition out of the water if they paid that much attention to particular ride. They are already meticulous about the attractions, but like you said, HP set the bar very high.

Not in anyway comparable to WDW, they own other land but it's not a huge amount or continuous. It would be nice if they did own and control the area around them like WDW to create the buffer between the city and the resort like you find at WDW.

I would very much like an International Showcase, but with one difference, at least one true ride in each country.

However it is much better themed.

Maybe in CA Adventure with each pavillion representing one of the major cultures that have helped shape CA.
