Annual Pass Question

If I were to buy a annual pass online.... Would it be valid from the time I purchased it or valid from the time I first used it in the park. I'm guessing it would be from the first time I use the ticket, but I just want to make sure. Can anyone help?

It's activated when you first enter a park.

The date in the system will show the pass starting date as the day you purchase it online. But When you goto the ticket booth to get your real annual pass the Cast member is supposed to update the pass starting date to the date you first enter the park. they should mention this to you, if not I would mention it.
