Hopefully they will put in something with repeatabity. Otherwise, they should have just ripped out the theater and combined the space with the festival area to add a new land to the park.

I see the potential in this idea a lot. I normally don't see shows in the park and feel indifferent about most of them, but I'd make a point to see this. I'll admit I'm a bit swayed by currently being halfway through Epic Mickey 2.

One of the replies in the DisneyParksBlog says it will be distinct from the Epic Mickey games. Oswald will not be featured and there are some details that haven't been released that apparently differentiate the two.

Ok I'm so going off topic in my own thread no less but....how is Epic Mickey 2? I got a Target gift card for xmas and had just enough on it to get one game....It was Epic Mickey 2 or Just Dance 4....

The Boy won...he didn't like Epic Mickey but believes he is America's Next Dance Crew of 1. I got Just Dance 4. So I have to wait for my Epic Mickey

I like calsig's idea the best but if another land can't be added to that space, I'm happy for the theater. Having 3 boys, we NEVER went back into that area.

I don't care how bad it is, they should never get rid of the theatre. Live shows are integral to Disney parks.

Just a wild guess, but I don't think DL will be using TDL's OMD II music. (If I'm wrong, PLEASE tell me!) However, your post does remind me of something... WHY did DL cut OMD short for Tracy in 1990??? I loved Tracy but he wasn't better than One Man's Dream!!!!

The scenic design looks very cool and nice, but looks like they'll be mostly relying on a projection (probably LED screen) for the back.

Sounds like yet another hodgepodge "let's cram a bunch of random Disney movies into one show" show. Hopefully it's not too toddler-pandering or cornball.

My thoughts exactly. Stage shows are really suffering from Disney's lack of new movies.

As a theater designer, I always felt using projections and LED screens for backgrounds/sets is a total cop-out for creativity. But I will hold my judgement till I see the final product

    Bring back Videopolis!!

Just kidding. This looks like it might be a cute show, at least there will be some kind of production in the theater.

The only time I felt these Disney hodgepodge shows worked was with Fantasmic. So if they want to add explosions, set the stage on fire and have a dragon pop out, then they just have something here.
