I Get In. I Get Out. I Never Get Noticed!- From "Prep And Landing"
I'd heard the 25th Anniversary Edition was going to be released but hadn't realized it could possibly have this effect on the parks! I'd love to be able to see Roger Rabbit at Disneyland, without having to pop in my old 'Disneyland Fun' souvenir VHS...![]()
"You can cut me off from the civilized world. You can incarcerate me with two moronic cellmates. You can torture me with your thrice daily swill, but you cannot break the spirit of a Winchester. My voice shall be heard from this wilderness and I shall be delivered from this fetid and festering sewer."

I wonder if it will be the original version?
"Here You Leave the World of California Today and Enter the World of, um, er, California Today."
Gather around the TV kids. Movie is about to start. It's about an alcoholic detective with commitment problems, an idiot rabbit, his seductive wife who is not bad just drawn that way, a cigar smoking ill-tempered baby, corrupt government officials, evil corporations, and a couple of murders to boot. It has Mickey Mouse in it.
Just kidding. It's a great movie and look forward to the new release.

Yes, and there's also a villain who wants to connect the Los Angeles area with giant superhighways called "freeways". Yeah, like that's going to happen. But it is a great movie, and a reminder of what Zemeckis can do with real animation, rather than "The Devil's Rotoscoping". (That's a term some animation people use for "mo-capping"). Someone here asked if this will be "the original version". I was only aware of one version. Can somebody fill me in?
"Here You Leave the World of California Today and Enter the World of, um, er, California Today."
It's a few frames, not affecting the plot at all. Possibly not cuts but "touch-ups" to "clean up" the content.
I mean, every time I've watched it on family-viewing channels the line, "I would have been here sooner but I had to shake the weasels" is always there.
"Here You Leave the World of California Today and Enter the World of, um, er, California Today."
I understand that the plot remains unaffected by the cuts. My point was that it is bothersome to me that the cuts/clean ups were made, reportedly, without the director's authorization. From an artistic viewpoint, that is unsettling.
I was told that when editing was done they found that two guys had wandered, unseen, through the set. Rather than re-shoot the scene they put a toon over each of them. I'd like to see a blooper or "how they did it" featurette.
