Put me in charge of the Park. You'll see heads roll for this neglect. This kind of ish is NOT supposed to happen. The spirit of Walt is FURIOUS that they're doing this to his Park.

Seriously, this makes me want to punch a hole in a wall or kick a desk over or something.

I don't like that there is so much gum in the outdoor queue. It is absolutly disgusting. And Walt Disney didn't want gum in his park that can easily littered.

Tommorowland is getting neglected because it's next inline for an overhaul.

It used to before they covered all the windows to allow less light pollution on the ride. You used to be able to see cars going around on the track which would get you psyched up to ride it also.

The Queue in Florida has some fun video games that you can play while waiting in line. You may even want to let the people who are behind you go ahead.

I don't know why they rush you through SM Queue and the Indy Queue.
Probably fire codes or something??

It seems like ALL of Disneyland is getting a little threadbare. . . .

There is evidence of a lack of maintenance, cleaning and general poor theming and landscaping everywhere now -

I thought the windows became obsolete b/c those walls were retrofitted to come up to earthquake code.

Anyway, I did notice much of the dust and grit in the queue and on the SS77. The lap bars and netting (for loose items) were in disrepair.

I didn't notice any lighting FX inside the ride that needed attention (aside from the missing item before the last lift). This is a shame.

I'm pretty sure they're planning a refurb. I went last Thursday and our rocket squeaked so loud that a little kid in the back thought the ride was falling apart. And the blue tunnel had like 10 working bulbs. The red lines in the second lift had a malfunction where they remained still. Our sound went out in the middle of the ride. The projection at the end of the second lift was just a flashlight revealing the structure used for the dome. And last of all, the queue line and the SS77 rocket were SO DIRTY. You could see the layer of dirt on top and there were even FOOTPRINTS! The good thing is the cut in the wall around where the viewing window used to be was filled in and repainted. I didn't enjoy it as much my last visit.

also some of the ride vehicles have really squeeky wheels. it's SO loud on some of them

I don't want to scare anybody, but wasn't that one of the issues with the Big Thunder incident in 2003? Just before train derailed, one of the Cast Members heard one of the wheels making an unusual noise. Of course, we're just anonymouse posters on a chat board. It's not our job to report safety issues ot Disney. It's their job to stay on top of those things, which is one of the reasons why we keep paying the higher price to get in.
