    Dont Push The Red Button!

HEY yall... just visited dland friday the 13th (no bad luck whatsoever[smilie=8,27,28] ) and when waiting to board tower of terror, I noticed a red button, on what appeared to be a control panel for something. It had Start and Stop as the buttons. The Start button was pushed in, and this bright, red, shiny button was calling to me to press it. I'm sure it's a prop because it was out in the open, but I was waaay too scared to push it! I thought I'd break the whole ride. Has anyone ever pushed it? Does anyne know what I'm talking about?

Pushing random buttons on a panel is bad unless its in the Q and looks like part of the line. If it was by the boarding of the lift, I am sure you would of been in MASSIVE trouble if you hit that.

They wouldn't have things like that out in the open where anyone can push it. I am sure there is a separate room with people monitoring.

Sometimes E-stops are in easily accessible places for just that reason, as the ops at various locations all need the ability to stop the system. There's often (always as far as i know) more than just 1 E-stop.

the red button he is talking about is not an E-Stop. it is a prop. does nothing, but entices people to push it...if they dare.

I think that one is is on the lower level of the queue line after the library (the one on the right. It is a panel by exit doors, right? If that is the one you are talking about, i've pushed it before, and indeed, nothing happens.

    EXACTLY
And I knew Disney wouldn't open themselves to lawsuits THAT easy, but there was something uneasy about that button, I couldn't push it!

it's RIGHT before you get on the actual ride, when waiting in the 1-6 collumns... if youre looking at the elevator doors, this one was to the left of the door. I was entering the far left elevator.

Does anyone or can anyone take a picture of this? You've peaked my interest! And since I'm not a huge Tower fan... I might not see it anytime soon.
