Valentines Day 2013

So I looked through the forums (just registered to this site) and didn't really see anything on this topic. Is anyone here planning on visiting on the day of love? Me and the gf are going down south for about a week to venture. So last year we went to Knotts and they had the park some-what themed around V-Day...my question is, does Disneyland do this? for example do they offer any deals/events/etc.? I have been to d-Land many times, but not on V-Day, and I am SUPER excited about it, any thoughts are appreciated. =D

Disneyland does a bit and this is one of the possible Limited Time Magic events this year.

Many special menu items show up. Also if you pay attention a lot of flower beds change color.

Fairly certain that in 2012, they announced that one of the example offerings for Limited Time Magic would be the princes being out with princesses during Valentine's week.

They phrased it as a possibility of an event that would come.

the wine bar in dca does something special too, maybe it's changed but a year ago or so they had a champagne special for two, with chocolate dipped strawberries and hand made items like that for $26 or something

but i do plan on going this year to asnwer the op's question.. have fun!

This is what I found at another blog about V-Day in DL:

So it seems like they do something special for that whole week! This mainly a bump in the thread, is anyone else heading to Disneyland on v-Day? =D

Also, can anyone tell me any fun things to do around town? We will be there Monday night until Friday morning, I just want us to have as much fun as possible! =D

I don't know that I'll be there on the actual day, but I do plan to go at some point during the week for the festivities that are supposed to be for the Limited Time Magic promotion.

So me and the gf are now in the disneyland area and have nothing to do for the day, until DCA tomorrow, any locals have any ideas for fun cheap ways to have fun around here? =D

Old Towne Orange is not far away. It's a charming old fashioned downtown area with lots of shops and restaurants. There's an old fashioned soda fountain cafe, too. Take Katella East a few miles to N. Glassell, right on Glassell. Old Towne is past the Chapman University campus.
