Simba Returns to Soundsational.

don't know if this has already been mentioned but I remembered seeing raffiki on the Lion King Float in soundsational last year where samba would be for a few months before the Christmas fantasy parade came in.. tonight I saw the soundsational parade and Simba was back... I was kinda hoping raffiki would stay.. it could have been a monkeys only float unit lol

Im sorry but simba can stay. I think that Raffiki was just a filler and its not his place on that drum.

I know he was a filler.. I remember hearing that samba had lots of issues, and one time I think his mane was falling off mid parade... anywho. I really like raffiki. nice to see someone you don't normally see at DLR

I wouldn't mind seeing Rafiki as part of the ground entourage, but he really doesn't belong on the drum.

On Simba, the first version of him looked like he had neck problems and there was WAY too much mane. This newer version is a huge improvement, although I miss seeing him wave to the Guests.

old simba was old and recycled from POD,the original jungle float had simba AND rafiki but sadly,that got chopped up

Yeah I saw the return of Simba on Sunday when I was there. But like some of you I which they kept Rafiki in the parade and put him with King Louie and Terk.

Simba definitely got a haircut over the past few months. You can actually see his eyes now. Although his movements didn't seem as fluid as they once were.
