    Disneyland Resort Wifi

    Greetings, Communicore Cadets!

For those of you who follow me on Communicore Weekly, you know my last few trips to WDW I've done some live streaming broadcasts to Facebook from the Parks with my partner in crime, George. This was largely because of the wifi WDW installed.

Im coming to town January 27th thru February 3rd (for some book signings for Rolly Crump and I & the MiceAge 10th Anniversary Events), and was wondering if the Disneyland Resort also had free Wifi. Ive heard conflicting reports, but Id love to know for sure so I can plan accordingly!

Thanks, and hope to finally meet some of you folks at the MiceAge Events!

As far as I know, there isn't any.

Hpwever I can't imagine it would be a hard thing to implement free all-park wifi. Most large modern airports such as LAX have very fast wifi throughout their whole facilities so I'm sure Disney could do it.

No park wide Wifi, but there is a place, near the Grand Californian exit/entrance beside GRR that you can log in to the Hotel Wifi. Worked well for us when we needed to check in for our flights.

I picked up a network while lunching at Earl of Sandwich at Downtown Disney. I didn't try to log in though.

Yes, anyone can access the Grand Californian Wifi. I usually just sit in the lobby if I want to check things online.

I wouldn't say it's particularly good or fast as far as Wifi goes, so I'm not sure if it would be adequate for what you want to do.

I hope Disneyland gets it soon. I'm crossing my fingers that all the next gen crap means that it's coming.

The Resort does not have Public Wifi, only the Grand does. Once we get the new stuff from WDW, we will get free wifi.
