Just because something is no longer in theme doesn't mean it breaks theme.

So what if its no longer a bridge inspired by the real thing? It still looks pretty good with its surroundings.

They made a big deal of this bridge being inspired by the Glendale-Hyperion Bridge in the press, but hey, so what, right? Just throw in some color that the original doesn't have, and which makes it no longer look like the bridge they said it was designed to look like, because then it becomes "pretty good," and, besides, who cares if it doesn't look like the real thing anyway, right? Only a nitpicker, a perfectionist, someone who demanded excellence, would want that. You know, who do we think we are, anyway, Walt Disney or somebody?

You know those mountains in Radiator Springs? Let's paint them blue, just for fun. Doesn't matter if the mountains they're based on aren't blue, let's paint them blue, because we can. That's pretty good. While we're at it, let's paint the Matterhorn purple, put Mr. Lincoln in Pirates of the Caribbean, throw a few teacups into the Haunted Mansion, toss some Splash Mountain logs into Space Mountain, and, you know, just do WHATEVER, because we can?

The bridge's color scheme NEVER really looked like the original, the real Hyperion bridge is not beige. This new color scheme looks amazing (even if its not accurate), because as I mentioned before, the old scheme was not accurate either. Great job Disney, looks great.

You obviously read nothing else I wrote or you would remember i Covered The difference between the theme of an individual aspect vs the overall theme.

Yes that bridge is no longer In theme but it does not break the Overall theme of BVS. Couple that with How nice the new colors are, your comparisons don't make much sense.

That whole color pattern makes Buena Vista Street look less like the LA landmarks it's based upon, and more like late 20th and early 21st Century Irvine and Mission Viejo.

Well quite a few others including myself disagree with you And as long as were talking aesthetics, there is No one right answer. it may not be historically accurate but that doesn't make it automatically ugly and it is nowhere near the same as making Cadillac ridge blue.

If they used the same concrete that was used on the original, then yes, absolutely. Barring that, I think a simulated and accurate beige colored paint is the next best thing.
