The Lion King is in a jungle, Critter Country is a forest/woods theme, hence Song of the South, Winnie the Pooh. Lion King can obviously only fit in Adventureland.

Critter Country is supposed to represent the south. The American south.

I think Splash Mountain does, but not necessarily Critter Country as a whole... I've always just seen it as a land dominated by "critters"... And Lion King could fit either there OR Adventureland to my mind...

I think it would look terribly out of place as the rest of the landscape indicates a completely different theme. I wouldn't mind it in Adventureland though.

I agree that all of CC doesn't have to be the American south, as Pooh is a good fit there, but it could NEVER be an acceptable home for an African safari. It's a forest for God's sake.

Ive always felt like there werent enough references to some of the older Disney movies in the parks. Maybe a nod to Lady & the Tramp along Storybook Canal, or a swampy area between NOS & Critter Country for the Rescuers. I can think of a thousand ways to add The Jungle Book to Adventure Land. Fox & the Hound in Critter Country? Aristocats could fit in several lands. What a fun topic to think on!

I'm such a broken record. (sigh)

    Tron.

I liked the Incredible A LOT. It's my favorite Pixar movie of all time. Sadly I don't see it getting an attraction anywhere. The Wall-E thing makes sense.

Love this idea, but I feel we would loose Mr Toads Wild Ride.

Lady and the Tramp probably isn't fairy tale enough for Storybook Canal, but I get what you're saying. Would love to see Fox and the Hound.

Which is why the British toy bear is so out of place.

Re: What films deserve representation and where?

If Fantasyland, Frontierland and Adventureland have numerous locations, there's no legit reason Critter Country can't use the English Country side for one attraction. The arguments against Pooh are ridiculous. Now back to the topic at hand.

Pooh is british...and even though he doesn't quite fit, adding the lion king would just be a jumbled mess. Two wrongs don't make a right...besides this
