What films deserve representation and where?

We often talk about what Disney movies deserve to be represented in the park, but this time I'm interested in HOW people would incorporate them. Here's my list:

    1. Wall E- some kind of replacement for Captain EO
    2. Beauty and the Beast- Fantasyland, maybe the old motor boat area? This doesn't lend itself to a dark ride to me, so maybe a walk thru like the Castle?
    3. Lion King- Adventureland, this might sound out there, but how about Rafiki's tree instead of Tarzan. With such limited room, I this Lion King should have priority over a film that didn't perform as well.
    4. Pocahontas- Frontierland, plenty of room to put more Native American culture into this land. A nicer version of her village, which is an attraction at Paris, would be awesome.

My opinion is that the balance of movie-brand rides vs. Disneyland originals has shifted 'wayyy too far to movie-brand rides -- particularly animation brands. I'd agree with a BatB attraction in Fantasyland, but no to the others.

Disney may have finally found the grail. You don't need
imagination or art. All you need is a brand."

I hate the Tie-in debate, Disney didn't have half the films they do now when the park opened, or I guarantee they'd all practically be movie based. And if they were, big deal. It's a film studio. The forum people are the only ones complaining. Anyway... please try to keep this on topic. Thanks.

I actually think that it would be better to be turned into a ride because a walkthrough could potentially lose interest over time, and a ride could be made to have a high capacity which the park desperately needs right now. I also would like to see Wall E regardless of the dystopian future it illustrates.

Not that I would ever condone this, but Splash Mountain could easily be turned into Pride Rock as a Lion King ride. And now so I don't get stabbed by the masses, Wall-E and Incredibles needs some representation.

    None of them.

Except for in a movie theatre or on TV...

I think a Wall-E themed attraction would work for Tomorrowland, but I don't know how they could really do it. I feel like they should just have a Wall-E robot that makes appearances throughout the day and leave it at that.

As for the Beauty and the Beast idea, I agree that it belongs in Fantasyland. However, seeing that it has a big presence in the new Fantasyland at WDW it probably won't get representation at Disneyland.
I am so sick of Frozen I can't even describe the feeling.

I don't think the two cancel each other out. There are plenty of attractions that match in both resorts.

Honestly? i would really love to see Meet the Robinsons in Tomorrowland somehow. May not be relevant anymore, but it fits well with the theming, and you could work in an educational aspect to it... Time traveling and whatnot.

I wouldn't mind swapping the current Snow White for the mine coaster that Orlando is getting. Build it Where the Fantasyland theater sits and put a Mary Poppins ride in the old (current) Snow White location.
This will never happen because no one cares about Mary Poppins, but a boy can dream...

For Fantasyland, a Legend of Sleepy Hollow dark ride would be my optimal choice, alongside a new 'dark forest' type setting (candy apple cart, Gaston's hunting lodge restaurant, villains meet and greet area, souvenir store.)

The Avengers... the highest grossing Disney movie of all time.

Beyond that, I would like to see the balance of tie-ins to original attractions restored.
