Maybe what you really want to see is Fantasyland become Epcot west? Forget the twisted pretzel cart, bring on the beer!
What I would like to see is Fantasyland be uniform and not a mishmash of flavors. If PFF is going to be put outside the castle and be considered Fantasyland then at least be consistent with Fantasyland and its color palate.

They are consistent. The pink and blues in PFF are present in Fantasyland. I think they don't seem consistent to you because the roofs in Fantasyland aren't pink and blue, and the ones in PFF are. The colors are the same.

Fantasyland is and always has been a "mishmash". You have London based rides right across from Italian ones and American ones and Swiss ones, etc...

Actually, while I agree with you, some of the roofs in the older part of the land are pink and blue.

And we must remember PFF (now officially titled just Fantasy Faire, as non Princess themes are used) IS Fantasyland.

They're pink and blue, but the tone is slightly different. And you're correct, Fantasy Faire is definitely Fantasyland. I'm just conditioned to saying Fantasy Faire, like it's separate. Once it opens I think I'll get used to calling it Fantasyland.

The color difference is probably due to wear and tear. Give it a few years and the faire will look less saturated like the rest of the land. Im sure FL looked just like this in 83.
In the quest for quality, I have no problem with the characters footing the bill.

The reds, yellows, and especially blues really pop under this lighting, just like they do at the new Fantasy Faire. It's all the same color scheme - bright primary colors that will eventually fade with time.
