What and where might they be?
Oh I don't blame you on that one..."The Dummy" I believe that one was called. But yeah, that one was pretty creepy.

Here is the Wiki link for a handful of references of the show that are in the ride queue.

LOL, you are very welcome! I'm just another Twilight Zone fanatic. I was raised on it. My step-grandmother used to take care of me as a child and she would watch it. I think the Twilight Zone is better than any other horror/suspense type show/film out there simply because it made you think...no gore, no blood just..."wow..what if...".

My ultimate favorite episode.... "Night Call". The ending blew me away....

The furnace in DCA's Tower looks a lot more like this:

    By comparison:

    Attachment 26740
    DCA

    Attachment 26741
    DHS

    See what I mean?

If you look at the space where ToT is in DCA now it pretty much is on the very edge of the property. Seeing as the DCA version of ToT was built in 2004 after DCA opened, I'm still surprised to see what the imagineers have been able to do with the ride in such a limited space. I like Serling's voice in the DCA version better. I don't care if it was edited, it just sounds so much more foreboding and scary than the WDW version. I'm not even sure the imagineers could have put a fifth demension scene in if they wanted to. If you look at the WDW version, the hotel extends back quite a ways and that is room DCA just didn't and still doesn't have. However, I think the mirror scene and the almost doubled overall ride efficiency in the DCA version make it slightly better than the WDW version.

    Jusy sayin'

I don't think anyone is really debating here about which Tower is better, just pointing out some differences between them.

    I didn't know that! Cool!

This is the one reference I can always remember to find. Love it. I hadn't seen the episode, but someone pointed it out to me on our first ride of the Tower, so I had to go home and record the episode (which coincidentally happened to be on tv that day).

Oh, that's fantastic. I'm going to have to take notes on this for my next trip.

Wikipedia is wrong about the doll though:

In the lobby of the hotel, at California Adventure and Walt Disney Studios (Paris), on a couch sits a dusty old doll. Some say the doll is supposed to be Talky Tina from the Twilight Zone episode "Living Doll," but others say is Sally Shine, the little girl in the pre-show and ride experience, from the 1997 movie Tower of Terror.
It is neither, it is clearly a Shirley Temple doll:

The doll is not a Twilight Zone reference there - but there is no denying it is absolutely creepy :oP

It was spotlighted somewhere on a special years ago, I like finding that stuff for myself so it took a little of the magic. Good eye.

Has anyone else ever checked out all the Masonic imagery in the portraits at the beginning of the queue?
