Question Waving at Cm on Splash Mountain???

Okay a while ago I read about people waving to a cm on splash...I know about the cm as you launch on space but I never knew about the them on splash...this being my favorite attraction and most likely my most ridden I was wondering where in the attraction this is so I can do this on my next trip! Thanks

Are you talking about the CM that sits in the dark area to the right of you JUST as you start to climb the hill for the final drop?

I love acknowledging those CM's! Some try hiding, others will wave back. That's my favorite part of the ride. I used to ask if I could get off, but they wouldn't play along with me.

This reminds me of the conversation I was having with the CM at the top of the final(?) drop of Grizzly River Run. I'd asked him if he was lonely in the tower by himself. He replied that he had just started his shift there and was previously at a different attraction. I asked him which one, to which he pointed at his open palm (seemingly indicating the number 5) and then we dropped. I never understood what he meant and I don't think I'll see him again.

I always wave. Some day they'll wave back.

I think they like to pretend that they are invisible or something.

Maybe he was pointing at his open hand as in waving to guests as in the Greeter position.

Re: Waving at Cm on Splash Mountain???

I have seen the CM one before the lift and they are only visable when there is reposting CMs and the exit door was open (daytime). They can also be seen during the night because your eyes are more adjucted to the light and the external lights light up that area of the building and they are seen. I been waving at them for the last couple of months. I don't know anywhere else in the attraction they are located.

The CM as you launch on Space? I knew about the Splash CM, but this one is news to me. Where's that?
Does anyone even bother with signatures anymore?

I never even noticed a CM there. I'll have to look next time I go on the ride.

after you load your rocket, you move a bit where they weigh it and straight ahead of you if you look up there is a window with a mission control dude sitting in there

I always wave to them too. They never wave back. I always wonder if they have a hard time staying awake right there, it is freezing cold and dark and just seems boring to watch the logs go up over and over!
