Was just at the resort over the weekend and noticed that the Cars Land faces had been removed from Monorail Red and Blue (didn't see Orange operating). When we rode, the narration was normal as well. On my last visit in November, they still had the faces and custom narration. Just curious if anyone knew when the trains were returned to normal?
I don't know when it happened, but good riddence!
Personally, I think it was silly and unneccessary. I doubt ANYONE went to Cars Land and DCA because they saw faces on the Monorail. And that place has been doing great since it opened.
I would have rather they focused their attention elsewhere in the park, including simple maintenance.
But that's just me.

It happened the first or second week after New Year's I believe. I thought the overlays were cute but I hated the spiels.

Glad to seem them gone. The faces may have been "cute" but they were not appropriate for the theme of Tomorrowland and were a pretty blatant marketing grab.

Glad there gone...hated the spiels. Thought it was to strange, and high doubt most kids even listened to it with all the eye candy around them.
Little and broken, but still good.
