Big Birthday/Anniversary this year and need some ideas...

My wife and I turn 40 this year and it is our 20th wedding anniversary and will be there mid March. We will be spending a couple of days at the parks and need some ideas to celebrate with family and perhaps a bit on our own. Traditionally we have breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen the second day so we have character dining covered, but if someone has a great idea I would certainly entertain it.

Some ideas I had...
Try to secure a ride on the Lilly Belle.
Try to secure a ride in the wheel house of the Mark Twain.
Dinner for the wife and I at the Blue Bayou (I can only dream of Club 33).
Have desert at the Plaza Inn and watch the fireworks.
Stay late and be as close to the last people out of the park as possible.

I need some more ideas and I am looking for something really incredible to top it all off.

Congrats on the anniversary!

Since it will be a birthday celebration definitely stop at City Hall and get birthday pins for both of you and visibly wear them. That will help get you front row seating on a lot of attractions. It also gets you free dessert almost anywhere inside Disneyland, DCA, and Downtown Disney.
