Sorry but I'm going to be Sammy the Skeptic here and raise the question:

For the amount of money it takes to have the parade shipped back here from Orlando wouldn't you think that Disney would be screaming it at the top of their lungs by now that it's coming back? The Electrical Parade didn't help DCA's attendance much and it's in the general sense a much less popular parade to the masses than it was in the eighties. I don't see Disney writing any checks in 2013 to get the parade back, even if it's for the Limited Time Magic campaign.

Isn't it really time for this parade to Die... It's really tired. Just spend the $$$ and build a new one from scratch.. Perhaps take a few ques from Tokyo Disneyland's Dramlights, Heck just copy it, With its own music though.

It would be nice if it would return, as I never got to see it while it was out here in California, but I do think better things can be done with the money that would be spent to ship it out here.

How about a whole new night-time parade, but have a few of the old Main Street Electrical Parade units (and original music!) refurbed and inserted in among all the new stuff? That keeps everyone happy!

How does an average person know anything about the secrets of Disney?
Answer: They don't.

I'm not saying they're right, but I would put more weight on a CM's comment than a random person on the Internet. Random person being anyone, not just you.

Again, not trying to be rude, but just saying...

Personally I hope it does come back in it's original form or close to it. Update lights to LEDs, but don't make the music all techno like this...




Modernize it, but leave some of the classicness (yes I just made up that word) of it.

I could have sworn I read on here that the Disneyland team does not want this parade back correct me if I'm wrong I cant find the source but I remember something along those lines of not wanting it back.

Thank God! Last time I saw the Electrical Parade it was starting to come down the street at DCA. My friend and I went running out the DCA exit gates and a cast member was laughing at us. I used to love that parade but, I just can not take it anyomre! Disney, please give us a new electric parade!
