Re: KROQ says Star Wars land in DCA

I just don't see there being room in DCA for what a Star Wars area could command. These kind of rumors could end up being anything. One thing I could see is a night party there to Star Wars in the Holywoodland area with a cantina serving theme drinks.

I love Ralph, but they get news wrong quite often. I heard him say it this morning, got excited for about 2 seconds, then blew it off as "I seriously doubt he'd have the inside track on this."
Does anyone even bother with signatures anymore?

Fanciful speculation at best. Terrible Idea though. That is unless they do it right and create a 3rd gate in the vein of Harry Potter world...then it is not a bad idea at all.

No. The theme of Hollywood Land can't just simply be movies and film. It's way too broad and pretty much anything could go there. Star Wars in California Adventure just doesn't mix well. If somebody could give me another idea on how it could work, I'm all ears.

To me, it makes more sense to build a Star Wars land at DHS than DCA. I like that idea better than putting a smaller version of Cars Land there.

It really doesn't fit that park either. Neither does Carsland for that matter.

I think they both fit DHS since that park's theme has basically become "Movies! And Stuff!" It's not a studio at all anymore, so movie attractions is all it has going for it.

They are misinformed there is no space in DCA for a land like Star Warsland.....unless Disney just want to make one D ticket ride and a restaurant...which I;m sure they want more

Yeah, I listen to the Adam & Drew show. I was a Loveline fan as well so it's nice to have them back. It's a bummer because I am into a lot of the stuff Kevin Smith is into as far as comics and what not but I can't get over how big of a cry baby he is.

As far as a whole land dedicated to Star Wars, I agree with everyone else pretty much. Maybe for a third gate, but not DCA.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Star Wars/Pixar land at DCA. They could move Star Tours, Buzz Lightyear, over there, and make a motion simulator Finding Nemo ride that doesn't actually go under the water. THEN they could bring back Tomorrowland rides where you go into the future, and rides like Inner Space, the Submarine Voyage, Peoplemover, Skyway...

DCA space: Hollywood backlot, tram loading zone and pick up/drop off area.

Dl space: Tomorrowland which should be demolished except for star tours buzz space mountain and subs. autopia relocated to Carsland

The Simba parking lot can be attached to DCA for expansion, on the Southwestern end of Paradise Pier.

IF this were true, why not put a Star Wars land in DHS istead of a downsized version of Carsland?
