Take it for what it's worth but Ralph Garmin, who does the entertainment news on the Kevin and Bean show on KROQ just said
that Disney is going to make a Star Wars land in DCA. Start the discussion!

Doctor: We're too exposed everywhere. And Amy can't move. And besides, that's not the plan.
River: There's a plan?
Doctor: I don't know. I haven't finished talking yet.
Where would it go? Can't see it being anywhere near to the same scale as Cars land. Theres nowhere really large enough for an entire new land.
Anyway I hope they don't. I'm not the biggest fan of Star Wars and it would turn DCA into a mish mash of themes.

There really isn't any space for it unless they took out bugs land. Although I am a Star Wars fan, I wouldn't want an entire land for it in a park with a California theme.
Here is the link to the story he was reporting on: 1st Stand Alone STAR WARS Movie?!?!?! - Ain't It Cool News: The best in movie, TV, DVD, and comic book news. ..... Sounds like just a wild internet rumor to me. Take it for what it's worth..
Looking at Google maps, I do not see enough room for a Star Wars land unless they were to buy the hotels and 7 Eleven behind DCA. The only way I think it would work if they were to take out a bugs land, which is too small for a good star wars land anyways, and then lead into the backstage area behind carsland for the E ticket ride they would need.
That tiny slice of the parking lot thats still left?
Honestly all I can think of is that dead zone near the back past Mermaid, but thats still not enough land
"If theme parks, with their pasteboard main streets, reek of a bland, safe, homogenized, whitebread America, the Renaissance Faire is at the other end of the social spectrum, a whiff of the occult, a flash of danger and a hint of the erotic. Here, they let you throw axes. Here are more beer and bosoms than you'll find in all of Disney World." - Chicago journalist Neil Steinberg
I guess the star wars land does fit DCA because Lucas Arts HQ is in California, my best bet for this land would be behind TOT and Hollywood land would continue with todays DCA HL needs this land because hollywood land is the least crowded land in DCA
,I love the idea it would be a huge hit you know it and I know it and believe me Disney Knows it , this will probably be announced at D23 this August at 3rd annual D23 expo.

Looking at Google maps I wonder if it is a possibility they expand the park west across West/Disney Drive into the parking lot area south of the Paradise Pier Hotel. That would be a nice chunk of property for a new land.
I love Ralph!
Anyway, you have to take it with a grain of salt. I've heard things before on the Showbiz Beat on Kevin and Bean that have been declared rumors or not true after Ralph's said them and later fact checked them or been corrected by someone. Regardless, still interesting nonetheless.
As much as I love Kevin and Bean and Ralph.....I really don't take his news reports as gospel. He recently mis-reported something that I'm not remembering right now for the life of me. It was a few months ago. And he had to get back on air and say he got his info from a bogus website that was completely wrong.
So I don't know.....
Won't believe it until I see it.
What does Star Wars have to do with California anyway, besides the fact that it's a Hollywood blockbuster film? Where would it even go?
