Can DLR support the MyMagic+ system?

In light of Al's recent article, the whole MyMagic ordeal has got me thinking. Can DLR support the system? Despite both bearing the name "Disney", I think WDW and DLR are two incredibly different parks. WDW has several parks, each with a sizeable fastpass network, numerous restaurants, and a decent sized attraction based. DLR, on the other hand, is a lot smaller, and, despite not exactly lacking in the attraction area, simply does not offer as much as WDW does.

Although the MyMagic seems like a universal concept that can be utilized at all of Disney's parks, I don't really think it would be successful in this case.

With 1 million APs what will this be unfair for them if they can't get tickets on the day of or even a week before. So what if AP just reserve tickets for everything before hotel guests get to them...This could cause a lot of issues.

Why would an Annual Passholder need an entrance ticket?

I'm not in favor of reserving a bloody Fastpass. I can bet a lot of other people aren't in favor of something like that either. I don't see it working here.

Of course, Disney won't sell it to consumers by convincing them what it does. They'll sell it to consumers by convincing them how it makes them look and feel.

Although I think the Disneyland Resort is currently in great shape,
the next big thing I'm most looking forward to is the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Hollywood.

And since WDW thinks they can take me for granted
and not keep up the pace of the parade of wonders they created in the 70s, 80s, and 90s,
we'll probably visit great natural parks & exciting cities instead of WDW.

I think this kinda piggybacks what I mentioned earlier. What happens during the offseason, or times of heavy refurbishment, when a lot of attractions are closed? What will there be left for the average guest when the remaining attractions are all booked?

Im sure Those who utilize the system will probably like it, but im betting there'll be an equal or greater amount of disgruntled guests who will at least consider taking their money elsewhere.

There are so few DLR hotel guests in the parks they would barely take any FPs in advance.

APHs can take part in MyMagic+ too.


My Magic+ is far more than FP reservations.

Even if that's what he meant, who says that they won't be able to have reserved fastpasses as well as the hotel guests?
